Voting has now closed on the proposed changes to the club and its annual committee elections.

We had 105 votes from 97 out of 133 eligible members. That is a very healthy turn out of 73% and it is great to see so many people having a say in how we operate. (The difference from 105 to 97 is a small number of people voting more than once. Only their last votes have been included).

The proposal to change the club into a Social Enterprise Company Limited by Guarantee is therefore resoundingly passed and we shall progress this in the coming weeks. Alan and Ben are returned as Chairman and Treasurer respectively, and will be joined on the Committee (and later Board of Directors) by Mathew. We shall ratify these results at the AGM on Thursday night. Congratulations to Mathew - you thought campaigning was hard... this is where it gets busy.

On behalf of Ben and I, I'd like to thank you for the confidence shown in us. We do not forget that its a privilege to be custodians of this club for a short period. Thank you everyone that stood for election, I am sure there will be opportunity to be further involved in future. THANK YOU to EVERYONE who voted.
