A request for help from the Daniel Owen Centre and an opportunity to be involved in helping the place we call home.
Dear Daniel Owen Centre user, We hope that you continue to enjoy the time that you spend at our Centre, we are very proud of the services that we run in the heart of the community of Mold. If you have any suggestions for improvements to your user experience, we would welcome hearing what you think we can do to improve, within reason! The Daniel Owen Centre is managed by a dedicated board of trustees, which sounds very grand, but we are just ordinary people who have the interests of our community and in particular the Daniel Owen Centre at the heart of the work that we do. Recently we have had a number of trustees that have retired, and we are seeking new people who are like minded to join our board of trustees. The commitment is to attend one board meeting a month, and to become involved in making some strategic decisions regarding the running of the centre. Karen, our fabulous manager is responsible for the operational day to day running of the centre and the Board work closely with Karen to support her and she in turn works closely with the board to carry out our instructions. As a registered Charity it is vital that we have a suitable number of trustees to support our work in meeting our aims and objectives, but also to meet the requirements of the Charity commission. If you or anyone you know is interested in becoming a Trustee then please get in touch, if you want to have an informal chat then let Karen know and one of the current Trustees will be in touch to let you know what being a trustee is all about. Thanks for taking the time to read this and please consider becoming a Trustee, your centre needs you. Kind Regards Chair of Trustee Board
Anyone interested can contact Karen Hodgkinson directly, or discuss what’s involved with Alan.
