Two pieces of shocking news to add to yesterday’s announcement of our Christmas Do.
Firstly tickets for the Christmas Do are on sale from tonight priced at the absolutely tiny price of £5 for members (£10 for non members). Holding the price for the fourth inflation busting year in a row, this ticket price covers not only your heavily subsidised Christmas buffet, but also your game night fees! How’s that for value?
Secondly we can confirm that this years raffle will have a combined prize fund of £1,000 pounds. Yes that’s a one with three zeroes after it. One thousand pounds. We are also proud to say that we have received a small number of donations of prizes in addition to this prize fund.
Raffle tickets are on sale from any of the three stooges in the committee that take your funds. Make sure to write your name and membership number (if you have one) on the back of the ticket stub.
