GAUNTlette - 06/04/25: Deeside Defenders Warhammer 40k Teams Tournament

The Deeside Defenders Warhammer 40k Teams Tournament – GAUNTlette was a great day of gaming, with four teams of 6 players, two rounds of games, and a strong sense of community throughout. Players brought well-prepared armies, solid tactics, and a fantastic attitude that made for a smooth and enjoyable event.


🥇 1st Place Champions

🏆 Coolest Dude – Darren Scholes


Voted by his fellow players, Darren Scholes took home the Coolest Dude award this year. Friendly, easygoing, and a pleasure to play against—congratulations, Darren!


🎁 Spot Prizes – Standout Moments

Throughout the day, a few players stood out with some notable achievements and earned themselves spot prizes:

  • Rhys – First 20-0 win of the day

  • Ed Larkin – First Warlord Kill in Round 1

  • Sam – First Warlord Kill in Round 2

  • Stephen Bennett – Transport Kill on Turn 1

  • Josh Schoch – Claimed the Titan Slayer title


Thanks again to all the players, team captains, and supporters who made the Gauntlette such a smooth and enjoyable event. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
