Election update (2)

Josh Townley made the following announcement on WhatsApp.
“Dear Members,
After careful thought, I've decided to withdraw from the Director election. To those who urged me to stand and supported me—thank you, and I'm truly sorry to step aside.
The choice was an easy one. When I stood, I didn't know who else would be putting their names forward for the director position, but I can see you'll be in good hands. Both Luke and John are brilliant, capable leaders who will serve the board well. Meanwhile, my own commitments—to the national tabletop scene, the World Team Championship, and above all, my wife and baby Gwen—demand my full attention.
I'll still be cheering on all the members, just from a different seat. The club's strength has always been its people, and I'm grateful to count myself among you.
All the best
Joshua Townley”
I have copied his kind words here so they are visible to the whole club and wish him and his family all the best.
Following Josh’s withdrawal, we now have two candidates John and Luke, for two posts.
Our elections have always allowed members to vote for or against a candidate even if they were the only candidate. So our election will now take place online, on Friday 18th July only. Each member will be asked to vote for or against each candidate.
