As advised in this post we shall, this week, be briefing club members on some proposed improvements to the club.
The plan is to gather attendees together on the following nights.
Monday 17th Feb - Cafe 7pm
Wednesday 19th Feb - Cafe 7pm
Thursday 20th Feb - Main Hall 7pm
We wish to brief you on the proposed changes to the club in 2025. If you are gaming on one of those nights, please make every effort to attend. We expect this will take around 20 minutes and we will provide you written documentation to explain the proposal. Following the briefings, information will also be emailed to all members. We will also open nominations for the vacant secretary position and anyone wishing to stand for chairman or treasurer roles. With so many people now attending the club on various days, we have chosen to conduct the votes online rather than a show of hands. This will mean:
ALL members get the chance to vote regardless if they are present on the night
ONLY members get to vote - the voting page on the web is accessible to members with a card number only
Members get only ONE vote, even if they attend multiple game nights
If you don't have a membership card, then do so before 20th February. We shall be pausing applications for membership until changes to the club are concluded.
The remaining schedule is:
6th March - close nominations for committee positions
6th - 19th March - online voting open for proposed changes and committee positions
20th March - AGM will reveal the results of the votes and confirm next steps
