Candidate - John Woolley

I am John. I joined the club around 2010ish at Airbus. I became the treasure when we formed the first club committee in 2020 and helped write the original club constitution. I became Chairman of the club when Pete Jones stood down after our move to the Daniel Owen Centre and was chair for two plus years.

I am standing at this time because I supported the proposed changes to the club and want to help keep the club the fun and friendly bunch of gamers it is while allowing us to grow to do more.

The club means a lot to me and it has been an amazing journey to see it grow from the 24 or so of us in the first weeks in June 2021 at the DO centre, to now 3 nights a week and over 140 of us now. I am very proud to have been treasurer then chairman, and after that to have been responsible for starting the TTRPG nights and see them grow and grow as well as preserving our annual Christmas meal event and raffle.

I am usually found running as DM or playing TTRPGs on a Monday and Wednesday or playing Battletech Classic / Alpha strike or some retro early 40k Rogue Trader or something else on a Thursday!
