Black Powder

If you've ever wanted to play the part of Napoleon or Marlborough, or wondered how long you'd stand against a Zulu impi, or just like seeing vast numbers of figures on the tabletop but still want the game finished in a reasonable time then Black Powder might be the wargame for you.

We use this for playing battles from the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745, to the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879, and beyond. And while we tend to leave the biggest games for full day events like Gauntlet we will occasionally get the Napoleonic figures out, brush off the accusations of hogging all the tables , for an evening refight of Albuera or Talavera.
